Swings for Service is run by students from the Biotechnology HS Students of Service Club. Here's everyone making it happen.
Grant founded Swings for Service after seeing how easily golf equipment piles up unused in garages while veterans across New Jersey struggle to access the same gear that could give them hours back on the course. He runs the drives, coordinates with PGA Hope of the New Jersey Golf Foundation, and personally makes sure every single club ends up where it'll do the most good.
Outside the initiative, Grant is a student at Biotechnology HS and an active member of the Students of Service Club.
A growing group of students who help with collection days, sorting, outreach, and everything in between.
Outreach Lead
Ryan handles partner outreach — connecting with golf shops, courses, and community groups to bring new drop-off locations into the network. An avid golfer himself, he brings a player's perspective to every conversation.
Operations Lead
Luke runs collection days on the ground — coordinating pickups, sorting equipment, and making sure every donation gets cleaned, organized, and ready for hand-off to PGA Hope of the New Jersey Golf Foundation.
Our team is growing. Check back here as we continue to expand and bring on new members for upcoming drives.
Every club we collect goes directly to PGA Hope of the New Jersey Golf Foundation, which runs free golf clinics for veterans throughout the state. The equipment we donate puts clubs in hands that need them.
We don't run the program. They do that brilliantly. We just make sure they've got the gear.
