Golf Clubs for Veterans · Monmouth County, NJ
Every club tells a story. Yours could start one.
Swings for Service collects unwanted golf clubs and gets them into the hands of veterans through PGA Hope of the New Jersey Golf Foundation — turning gear that's gathering dust into hours on the green for those who served.
Golf is more than a game — for many veterans, it's rehabilitation, camaraderie, and a return to something steady. But equipment is a barrier, and quality clubs are out of reach for too many.
That's where we come in. Swings for Service is an independent initiative founded by Grant Stastney — a student at Biotechnology High School — with a small team he's brought on to help. We've hosted drives at a number of locations across Monmouth County, including one at Biotech, but the organization itself isn't tied to the school. We collect golf clubs from anyone willing to give them a second life, and donate every one to PGA Hope of the New Jersey Golf Foundation, which introduces veterans to the game of golf as a way to enhance their physical, mental, social, and emotional well-being.
You drop off the clubs. We get them where they're needed. A veteran swings again.

Grant started Swings for Service to bridge two things he cares about: the game of golf and the people who served our country. What began as a personal idea has grown into a full independent initiative — over 300 clubs collected and counting, with every single one going directly to veterans through PGA Hope of the New Jersey Golf Foundation.
Grant runs Swings for Service with a small team of students he's brought in to help with collection days, sorting, and outreach. The work is simple but it adds up. A driver here, a putter there, a full set someone forgot in the garage. Each donation means another veteran on the course, another swing, another story.
